I mentioned in this post that I’m leaving some of our windows as they are–and not painting the wood. I was on the fence until I saw this photo a week or so ago from Tiny Twig’s instagram. I thought I’d share in case you have wood windows too and are feeling lonely. I admit, the black mullions take it up a notch, but the wood is just lovely when paired with neutrals. To me, that’s the key, if I ever decide to paint my bedroom purple or green or pink, the wood probably won’t look as stunning as it does against simply white walls.

I snapped this grainy photo last week and put it on instagram so I could compare it to the one above. My windows aren’t as impressive but, there’s something about the wood that I like and want to keep for now.
