Welcome to the 2010 Christmas Tour of Homes!
is a scarf Christmasy?
I’ll be honest, I’m still putting a few things out to decorate for Christmas, but some weirdo decided to have a Christmas Tour on the 13th and I want to join in so I’ll show you what I have so far. Wait, I’m the weirdo. Nevermind.
We kept it kind of simple and natural and thrifty this year. I shopped the house and used what I had and I don’t have bins and bins to fill back up the week after Christmas. But who knows, I might go all out next year. I love all sorts of Christmas decorating and I have nothing against bins.
But, this tour is not about me. We want to see your place. However if you are new here and aren’t sick of me talking about my Christmas decorations and wreaths and annoyances and want to see more here are my posts for the holidays.
You have no idea how much I enjoy you, the Nesting Place community. Thank you for making this blog a place where we can be imperfect together. Now, let’s get to the fun part…
Here are the unofficial rules if you have any questions. If your link got deleted, click here to find out why. And remember, only one link up per blog. Don’t forget, Kelly’s having a linky party today too!

Oh wow, you are two hours early. Lucky for me that I was popping in to check on an old post.
Thanks for throwing such a wonderful party and take care of yourself when you start to make the rounds. Keep hydrated and such :-)
Have a wonderful Christmas time and blessings to your family.
I said BY 8 am, right? Early bird gets the worm. Keep hydrated, how cute are you?
PS, I try to rotate the times around to start the linky–last year it was night, next year? Maybe I surprise everyone and start it in June?
What a gorgeous home!! I love the simple colors of your decor!
I love all the white decorations! Thanks so much for hosting!

Thank you for hosting, Nester! :) I’m really looking forward to touring after preschool drop-off today. :) I wish I’d been a bit more creative this year…but maybe I’ll find some inspiration for Next year. ;)
I really like the simplicity of your decorations this year. As I was dragging out all the bins (by myself- hubby is out of town) I couldn’t help but think it was time to scale down!
Toni

Oh how fun! I’m loving touring homes this morning!
Gorgeous decoration. Gorgeous pictures.
Thank you for hosting!!
Yay! I love your look this year – stunning! I’m a traditional red and (lime) green gal with bins – ha! I have toned down the amount of glitz this year, though. Thank you so much for hosting this fabulous party. Blessings to you and your family this Christmas! ~Southern Fried Gal
So beautiful! Thanks for hosting…this is so much fun! :)
Oh wow, your decor and home is simply breath taking. I can’t stop looking at it! This is a great post, I love looking at everyones Christmas decor!
This looks so fun! I have a crazy day on, but my treat at some point tonight, will be sitting down with a “festive” eggnog and touring some of the homes. Can’t wait! Thanks for hosting, and your home looks lovely as always. :)
Thanks for hosting Nester! Great party! :)
Wow, I love the different styles of Christmas decorating that everyone submitted! I’ll be touring a little later…
I, too, went kinda thrifty and natural around the house this year. Our main tree (we have a teeny one in the kitchen and our boys’ playroom) has not one ornament on it. None! This is a departure for us. The Hubs and I decided that with a 20 month old in the house, ornaments would not be a good idea. Lights, a bow topper, and some ribbon to twine around the tree are all we needed this year. We love it! It’s simple and pretty….and no tension over a curious toddler getting into trouble!
Everyone’s home’s are so beautiful! Thanks for hosting…love how simple you home looks.
Dear Nester!
This is probably my most favorite thing you do! I love it!
Gorgeous post! Beautifully photographed. Thank so much and Merry Christmas!
Hi Nester,
Your home is absolutely beautiful for Christmas! The collage really showed it all so wonderfully. Thanks for this great tour! I’ll have fun checking out the links and storing away ideas for next year. :)
Susan
Thanks for hosting a great party! Your home looks great but… my favorite… the scarf!
Oh my goodness! Your home is gorgeous…the colors, the designs, the decos! I’m still thinking about the shutters over the mantle!!! I have to go back and look at each detail. Fabulous! Now, all I want to do is spend the week looking at all the links and their decos:) Thanks for hosting and I will try to link up with you tomorrow.
such lovely things to look through! thanks for hosting, and have a great week!
Your home is gorgeous and I love being able to peek in on other homes (all in one place). Thanks for hosting this awesome party.
All the pale blue and white in your home makes for such a serene and lovely Christmas look!! It’s gorgeous!
I love the blues and whites at yours, just gorgeous!
It looks great, Nester! I’m the opposite this year. I brought up all the bins, didn’t use everything in them, but enough that I’ll be making up new, unmentionable words come January, and I’ve already decided Christmas 2011 is going to be simple, simple, simple!
: O – NESTER! I. LOVE. YOUR. HOME!!!
Thank you for hosting! This is so much anticipated FUN. Love hopping around and seeing everyone’s decorations.
Always fun Nester, so glad to be here! Merry Christmas friend!

Nester, I am in complete and utter obsessional love with your home. I am the type who goes all out at Christmas and decorates every nook and cranny. You think I’d love anothers home, that is done in the same way, and I do. But I looooove yours. I love your style, how you photograph your home (still working that detail out for myself) and how you display your treasures. Enough of the mushy stuff, I’m off to check out all the homes. Thanks for the fun!
Thanks for hosting this fun Holiday home tour!!!
It was so much fun to see all these homes. Maybe you would drop by my new blog and see mine. Thanks, Richard. myoldhistorichouse.blogspot.com
I love your Christmas decor!!! The all white cabinet display is my favorite.
Thanks for hosting…

Hey Nester!
Your home looks amazing, I’m drooling over all your changes. As I “white” and “aqua” fan, I so understand the serenity and calmness that you have effortlessly achieved in your gorgeous home. As always, your friend…

Oh boy, better grab some coffee and sit a while (which is the point of good party, isn’t it?) Thanks for hosting Nester!
I love your aqua Christmas–so soothing! Thank you for hosting this fun tour-o-Christmas. (And thank you so much for the tumblr link last week!)
Hope you and the family are enjoying a wonderful December!
This is always my favorite linky of the year! My middle-age eyes thank you for choosing the LARGE THUMBNAILS !!
I am loving your simple, elegant decor this year… your home is beautiful !!
Your house is beautiful. Thank you so much for all the inspiration. While I am sooooo not crafty, I did make a coffee filter wreath for myself and a couple for gifts this year. So proud of myself! =)
Wishing you a blessed Christmas season!
there’s that darn goat again…. ;-)
I LOVE your color scheme for the season. It is so Fresh and Brilliant! Your home is beautiful… I’m joined your “Home Tour”…Thank you for hosting!!!
Have a wonderful and Fun Week,
Donna
This linky was such a blessing to me. I am on bedrest with a difficult pregnancy and I enjoyed spending part of today “visiting” peoples homes. I think it is so wonderful to see how each person expresses themselves and how obvious it is that they love their families and are creating memories for their families to share. Great idea to have this, I enjoyed it last year also!
This was so much fun!!! Thank you for organizing this wonderful event-I have enjoyed it. Your Christmas decor is beautiful!
Blessings,
Kim
