Ever Grateful for Details :: A Giveaway

Do you ever catch yourself being attracted to something simply because of the details?

Yeah, me too. I want this scrolly and dot pattern etched on to my chairs and bags and maybe I could add it to this blog’s design?

grateful for simple blessings

You can find this pattern on the Ever Grateful Collection just released by Nesting Place’s friend and Sponsor, DaySpring.  The design and message is based on Ephesians 5:4, Let there be thankfulness to God.  Not only do they offer these dishes, bowls, salad plates, mugs, trivets and vases in various colors {cue dramatic music and glistening beams of sunlight}…

always blessed, ever thankful

Somehow DaySpring snuck into my family room before I even redid it and created a pattern and perfect shade of green {called wasabi} that happens to look stunning with my current decor.  Thankyouverymuch.

As usual, I have a few items that I’m especially fond of.  Like the cake stand and the platter {remember, you can hang platters!}.

This pitcher is another one of my favorite pieces.  As much as I love to collect pretty dishes, I can’t afford to have lots of pieces hidden away that only serve one purpose.  That’s why I like to have things that I can display and use in other ways.  This pitcher doubles as a vase, the platter doubles as a tray, the cake stand is great to group candles, shells, books {not that I don’t wish I had cake every day} and any and all of the plates are pretty enough to hang on the wall or be displayed in my hutch.  When you buy dishes, you don’t want to buy them thinking they will be packed away in a cabinet 90% of the time, buy things that you can use and enjoy as much as possible.  I even use the shapely coffee cup as a vase.

The collection combines all of my favorite things, beauty, meaning and usefulness.

You can get a couple of accent pieces, or an entire place setting {which is conveniently on sale right this moment}.  Very well appointed I might add with the layering of the scrollies and dots with the squiggly edges.  I’m sure they discussed that in their meetings.

Oh, and remember that Memo Board with the easel that you all saw at my Blessings Unlimited Party?  It’s part of the Ever Grateful Collection as well!  This was one of those pieces that everyone was commenting about.  I’ll take 4 please.

  5. These are incredible!! Something to bring an elegant yet simple expression of beauty into daily life…and therefore a reflection of the beauty of God. We want them ALL, of course. But if we had to choose, it would be the mugs…because we’d use them the most & enjoy their beauty every day! M’lis you are amazing! Again!

  6. I would feel royal if I could eat off these plates every day. I would just have to figure out how I could fit all my food on my plate and still be able to see them. My favorite part of this set is when the different sized plates are stacked together, the uniqueness of each makes for such a happy harmony!

LOVE the pitchet that doubles as a vase. The tone-on-tone color is lovely. Love the beige and ivory combination. ‘Ever thankful’ theme is a priceless message as a christian who lifts all things to our Lord and Savior! I would be thrilled to win and display and use this pitcher. I have a perennial flower garden and my flowers would look lovely in this vase. I also would use it in my business as clients come to my home and I serve drinks or ice water to them— So, it would definitely be used!! Thank you for this chance to win one of your most precious pottery designs! Blessings, Laura Bode

Love it all, but I think the pitcher is my favorite. I love having a classic piece that can double as a vase or serve a beverage to guests. The scripture adds to the appeal to me, and if I don’t win it I’m going to have to put it at the top of my birthday want list!

  14. Joyce Owens says:

I absolutely fell in love with these wonderful dishes the first time I saw them. I feel the designer is definitely ” God Inspired” and is using her talent in a most unsusual way. We, as homemakers, thus can use “her gifts” to us . . . to share His Love with family and friends who dine at our table. None of us should miss an opportunity to let others know of our “Love and Devotion” to our Father God. To me, the pitcher has so many possiblities but I so love the salad plates. I want to collect the set.

  15. My absolute favorite is the salad plate! I love the shape and the words.

  16. Love love love love love these I would be “ever thankful” – and already am – love to just look and dream and shop!! Thanks Dayspring!!! :)

  17. I need the whole collection for sure it is soooo pretty!!!!

  18. I love the board & easel! So fun & practical! I also love the things that you wrote on it in your picture. You write how I speak. Blessings to you today!

  20. I love every piece – it would be hard to pick just one!! The colors are fabulous. I definitely “need” the memo board and the pitcher, for sure.

  21. They are all fun!! Do I have to pick just one? Ok – the salad plate!! More than anything, I love the inspirational messages! Thanks for the chance!

  22. I love having Scripture hanging throughout my home. What a fabulous idea to have dishes and such for family and guests. One of my favorite verses. Thanks for the opportunity to register for the cake stand giveaway;

  23. Patricia Ensor says:

I love the idea of the large Easel. To be able to write down your Thankful Thoughts immediately when thinking of them. It is so important to be grateful to God for what he has given us and it is so easy to forget, after all, who has given them. I thank God for this idea of the message Easel. Many Blessings.

  24. What a special addition the message board would make in my kitchen that would remind me of God’s faithfulness,as well, as things I need to do for the day. I just love it!

  25. I LOVE it ALL! And it is so “me”!! Gotta have the pitcher!! … and the cake stand!!! …. and the easel!! =0)
