I’m having a party and I want you to come.
This party is hosted at my Nest–meaning, my actual, real life house, but it’s coming to us from DaySpring’s home line, Blessings Unlimited. It’s kind of like Pampered Chef but it’s not stuff to help you cook, and we won’t be making a recipe and wishing we could eat more but not wanting to look like a glutton. Instead, it’s stuff to make your house pretty, or to add beauty to your life and all gluttons are welcome. Actually, I’d prefer it if only gluttons come but I don’t want to disclude anyone. Is glutton a word? It’s starting to look funny. I think I just heard DaySpring roll its eyes.
Anyway, Saturday May 15th, 4:oopm. At my house in North Charlotte, NC. All you need to do is email me at this new email {letsnest at gmail dot com} with the word “party” in the subject line. Like always, I’ll be making you prove that you are not a killer before I give you my address. Because, as much as I welcome gluttons like myself, no killers are allowed. I have to protect the lives of Diane the home consultant coming in to show us the beautiful wares, Stephanie, my dear friend from DaySpring/(in)courage, my sister who will be attending and you.

Or, maybe you live close to me and we have a mutual friend, that can help too. I just need some way to verify that you are a real person and not some weirdo trying to get my address. You understand.

You will like this party because you will get to see all the lovlies available from Blessings Unlimited {totally new items that are not found online in the DaySpring shop!} there will be food and giveaways, but, most of all, we all get to hang out for a little while.

Now, excuse me while I work like a crazy woman for the next two weeks getting my house ready. True to my usual form, I have started a project in every room of our house that will need to be completed before people come. It looks like we just moved in only worse.

Oh, I am sooooooooooooooo disappointed that I don’t live closer. I would LOVE to come to your party. And I loved that you said that you would “sweat like a banshee” LOL! I am not a killer either but I do live something like 6 or more hours away. PLUS, on that day, I am leaving for vaca in Arizona…slightly more than 6 hours away. ;) BUMMER! Good luck with it and have lots of fun! I hope that you post lots of pics too for those of us that couldn’t be there in body but would definitely be there in spirit. :)

Thanks for the open invitation to all of us! I would love to come and the thing is we are actually flying a couple thousand miles into DC that weekend, yet we will still be too far away to actually attend your party. Are there a consultants here in the west? I LOVE their products and the lovely messages which they inspire. Good Luck getting ready for a fabulous time and productive party! Sorry to miss the slip cover party this coming weekend. We’ve just had a whole slew of out of town guests this month and I need to recover and my Husband will probably be working to catch up with his work…anyway, I’m really hoping to make it to your Dayspring party! I am just relieved to know that I am not alone in having 6 unfinished home projects around the house. I get an idea and start on it, then get another idea from that one and so on. Lately it is due to these blogs. My husband “thanks” you all!! Ha
OMG. I may actually convince my husband to let me drive to Cahrolette (from Fayetteville) for a “friends” party (that he has no idea I have LOL). I’ll let you know sooner than later but I would love to come for the blessed party.

oh sweet nester girl! if i weren’t having company myself that weekend, i’d hop in the car and race your way. i do need to make another ikea trip soon so i’ll keep checking for the next nester home party. i’m most certainly a glutton and will most certainly bring gluttonous foods when i come. notice i said ‘when’.

I wish I wish I wish I could come. Sadly NC is pretty far away from my house. I’m going through a seriously craving a “nest” phase because my house is currently undergoing a major overhaul due to the leaky sink that caused the kitchen to be torn out and put in my living room… so I freely admit to a small (okay, medium….) amount of coveting going on as I imagine your nest and party. Hope it’s fun!
