I'm thinking about doing something for my living room windows, so my mom told me to check out your window mistreatments. I don't know if you even read all of your comments (I always just assume everyone else's blog is like soooo much cooler than mine with like a zillion followers-dumb, i know), but I had to comment and let you know I love everything I just read. Especially: "It doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful." "Maybe we want our house to be beautiful but we also want to have enough money left over to sponsor a compassion child." (Jefri and Santanu, our Compassion kids, thank you!) I could go on and on, but suffice it to say--I will now be a follower for sure! I feel empowered to go for it, to find some great fabric at a great price, to make something beautiful and stop worrying about trying to make it perfect. After having a sheet (and an ugly one at that) pinned up to our guest bedroom window for two years, I am MOVING FORWARD! If it's got to be perfect, then it will NEVER get done around my house. I am now a mom and the production of these curtains has to fit into nap time! Thank you for your words. Thank you for your inspiration. Thank you.
