<p>Sometimes I forget to take my own advice.  Or your advice.  I found this regular, weirdly cut up piece of copy paper the other week.  Only it had one redeeming quality.  It had writing on it written by the boy in our family who supposedly hates to read and write more than anyone else.  And he would much rather be shooting his gun at the birds in the neighbor&#8217;s yard than loving his neighbor and such.  I have no idea how this paper came to be, only that it is.</p>
<p>So, you now understand that this paper is a priceless work of art. But I had no idea how to preserve it.   Then I remembered that <a href="http://www.thenester.com/2009/04/frame-it-framed-fork.html">framed fork.</a> It&#8217;s true, with a frame and scrapbook paper, you can frame just about anything.  If what you want to frame has dimension&#8211;simply take the glass out.  You can frame old coins, ticket stubs, Polaroid photos, baby toys, game pieces&#8230;you don&#8217;t need a fancy mat, just a precious memory and some scrapbook paper, wallpaper, page from a book&#8211;whatever.</p>
<p>What have you framed lately?</p>

Look what he found, a cute little unassuming lizard. My child is so creative and loves animals of all sorts.</p>
<p><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.thenester.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/DSC_0007.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://www.thenester.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/DSC_0007.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5144024156623458018" border="0" /></a><br />See what I mean.   He&#8217;s  put  this cute little captain&#8217;s hat on the  lizard.</p>
<p><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.thenester.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/DSC_0010.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 401px; height: 265px;" src="http://www.thenester.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/DSC_0010.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5144027008481742578" border="0" /></a></p>
<p>Oh, how adorable! Now, my darling child is letting this lizard drive a ship.</p>
<p><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.thenester.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/DSC_0009.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://www.thenester.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/DSC_0009.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5144024139443588786" border="0" /></a>Wait.  What&#8217;s that honey?  Your lizard won&#8217;t play with you anymore? </p>
<p><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.thenester.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/DSC_0008.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://www.thenester.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/DSC_0008.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5144024152328490706" border="0" /></a>I&#8217;m sorry to report that within 3 minutes of play this lizard mysteriously became a quadriplegic.</p>
<p>That reminds me of another time that this animal loving child decided to lock himself in his older brother&#8217;s room. The room that happened to have the goldfish bowl. By the time I found him, his sleeves were all wet, and there was a parade of matchbox cars lined up on the floor. Upon closer inspection, I noticed there was something in the tiny pickup truck that he was pushing happily across the floor. It was Goldie, our beloved family pet goldfish.</p>

It&#8217;s a genetic disorder that my seven year old son has. I just found out today. Before you start to worry, just look at that close up of his pinky finger. Yes, ladies and gentleman (wait, who am I kidding?) yes, emily and heather, that is clinodactyly in all its glory.</p>
<p>Both of his pinkys are curved. I asked the Dr. about it when he was born, it was one of the first things I noticed about this blonde child. I googled it today, just for fun and I found all kinds of neat <a href="http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?artid=1255945">info</a>. </p>
<p>Other than that, he&#8217;s normal. Except for the fact that he perfers ceasar salad, black olives<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.thenester.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/DSCN2808.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer;" src="http://www.thenester.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/DSCN2808.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5137934812758336002" border="0" /></a> and shrimp to a grilled cheese sandwich. Or, that he has an uncanny ability to make fantastic sound effects of NASCARs that even strangers comment how realistic they sound. Or that he occasionally wipes his hiney on our guest towel in the guest bathroom where guests frequent. That was a fun discovery. Don&#8217;t worry according to him it&#8217;s only when we are out of flushable wet wipes. Which we haven&#8217;t had for at least three weeks.</p>
