Today I want so share some instagrammers that encourage me in different areas of my life. I hope you find encouragement in their feed too!

The Faux Martha

faux martha

Melissa, of The Faux Martha has never steered me wrong, I’ve made her recipes (delish, every one we’ve had) and her simple photos are always thoughtful and not overwhelming.

Emily wouldn’t call herself a home blogger–she talks about fashion and how to have pretty penmanship and birthday parties for her kids among lots of other things, but for me, she inspires me in my home more than anything. Every photo is beautiful, authentic and leaves me with approachable inspiration.

I mean. Brittany’s feed leaves me speechless. It’s dripping with creativity and is a feast for the eye. Or eyes if you have two.  I want her to be my mom.

flowers

Stop it. Just stop. This many beautiful flowers should be illegal. I cannot get enough flowers in my instagram feed and Kiana’s account is the best of the best. I don’t know whether to drool, cry or get in my car and drive to California and beg her to let me clean the toilets in her studio so I can be closer to The Flowers.

the peace notes

the peace notes

The Peace Notes is a new to me feed curated by Nicki Hawes. The grid itself is so thoughtfully put together that it immediately catches your attention. I love the peaceful photos and the quotes for a little pick-me-up in the middle of my day.

Emily P. Freeman is the queen of approachable curation. There’s something about the way she strings her images together that tells a bigger story and I so appreciate that, I feel she has me (and all of her followers) in mind as she chooses what image and caption to post next to encourage us in the daily-ness of our lives. Also, she happens to be my baby sister.

lazy genius

lazy g

In The Lazy Genius feed, Kendra reminds me of the importance of knowing when to give up on stuff that doesn’t matter. Her tagline “Be a genius about the things that matter and lazy about the things that don’t” pretty much sums up the kind of applicable tips that she shares.

gdm

glennon

It’s not the prettiest feed, but that’s not the purpose of Glennon’s instagram account. These authentic, funny, mom-in-the trenches images are so good–and the comments are usually even better.

And, if you are looking for encouragement that It doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful when it comes to your home and life, then I’d love for you to follow me on instagram.

ig webinar

By the way, I’m hosting a free webinar next Tuesday called 7 Steps to Your Perfect Instagram Post.

Of course, I don’t really believe that our posts need to be perfect, nor am I crazy enough to think anyone is looking to comment on perfect posts on instagram.

BUT, if you are like me and hope to create beautiful, inspiring content in order to connect with people on instagram, then it’s SO WORTH IT to be intentional with instagram and think about the reasons that we post and what exactly it is we are trying to accomplish with our instagram account.

Over the years, I’ve figured out there are 7 ideal parts to every post that anyone creates for instagram, I’d love to share them with you!
