Last week I shared how junky my office/guest house was getting, and wrote about my dream to make it more comfy for when we have guests. There were definitely some obstacles to making it cozy. Like the hard, cold concrete floors, the poorly insulated walls and the fact that there’s a fridge sitting right at the end of the bed, this is basically a 400 square foot tiny house.
My goal: make it comfy and cozy, starting with the bed.
I wanted this bed to be so cozy and comfy that it would make up for the wonkiness of the rest of the room. Maybe you won’t notice the fact that to heat the room you either have to use space heaters or babysit the wood stove if you are all snuggled up in the World’s Most comfortable bed?
I started with a canopy bed, which pretty much defined my own teenage dream, so I could hang drapes around the bed to make it more like a cozy cocoon.
And because I want our guests to have as good of a night’s sleep as we get, we’re using a Leesa Mattress in the guest room–just like what we’ve had on our bed for eight months now.
I get asked how we “really” like this mattress all the time–I think it’s becoming one of the most common questions people email me, or ask me about when they come over–y’all, Chad and I both truly love the Leesa Mattress!
It’s the super-comfy mattress that is delivered to your door in a box.
You put it on the bed, and as soon as you cut the plastic…
It magically turns into an incredibly sleep-able mattress.
Mattress buying can feel intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be.
No more strapping the mattress to the top of the car and cursing as you lug it up the stairs knocking down your gallery wall as you go.
Now you can have your mattress delivered in a small box, easily open it, sleep on it for 100 days, and if it doesn’t work out for you, the good people at Leesa will come and pick it up and refund your money. It’s CRAZYTOWN! This is how sure they are that you will love this mattress.
The first time I tried this mattress I was sure I wouldn’t like it, it wasn’t as fluffy as my last mattress with the pillow top. But after the first night of sleeping I figured out that I had been picking out mattresses all wrong. I liked my crazy fluffy mattresses because they seemed like they would be comfy to sleep on because they are comfy to sit on, I’ve learned that doesn’t mean it’s the best to sleep on.
