  1. Beautiful story by Melody Ross…I am familiar with her Brave Girl’s Club. She is truly inspirational.

  2. It must be God Winks…

I woke up today feeling really sorry for myself and pretty darn mean. I’ve been unemployed for four years, living with my newly divorced daughter with two small children. My bed is the couch, quiet time is in the tiny bathroom and the days are interminably long.

After reading this, I think maybe I better put on my big girl panties and a smile along with a better attitude … turns out, I have a lot to be thankful for.

  3. Thanks for sharing Mamamia’s article. Those are thoughts well worth remembering.

  4. I always tell myself “Claire, do NOT look at Nester’s Weekend Links post until the end of the day because one of them will inevitably move you to tears and you will be incapable of accomplishing anything productive for at least an hour. Maybe longer.” I never listen.
The post by MamaMia… no words. What an amazing story.

Thank you for sharing, as always.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful story, making us all more aware of reading each other’s signs!

  6. Thank you so much for sharing that story about signs and being gentle with each other. I have shared it with my friends. xoxo

  7. Patricia Ann says:

Thank you for sharing this story… just amazing… lifts my consciousness.

  8. I just adore your blog, for so many reasons – usually the home DIY posts, but the link to the post about the man’s accident really hit home. This past year, I’ve dealt with a severely mentally ill brother, whom I “inherited” when my Dad passed. Man, brain injury/mental illness is no joke. It has opened our eyes. xoxoxox
