2012 Christmas Tour of Homes

Welcome to the fourth annual Christmas Tour of Homes here at Nesting Place!  Special thanks to Sophie from BooMama for entrusting me with what I always assumed was the most famous linky party of all time, it was the first link up I ever joined back in 2007 and it’s such an honor to host.  Here are a few photos of my place and my people, click “read more” and scroll down to link up to yours…

  3. y’all, hate me that there are no numbers ACK! so sorry, I’m afraid if I change that part now the 15 people who already linked will lose their spot, let’s look at it as a lovely limitation, shall we?

    xoxo

  4. What happened to your leather couch? Did you get rid of it?

  5. love that snowflake wreath. happy holidays and thanks for hosting. i really kept the “not having to be perfect” thing in mind…it made sharing what i DO have a lot less stressful.

  6. Hi! Thanks so much for hosting this wonderful party again his year! Just wanted to let you know though that when I open the site, I have to hit esc to stop loading or it will automatically forward me to a spam site or yahoo. You might want to check on that!

  7. I think BooMama’s party was one of the first I ever saw or linked up to, too! It’s wild to think how much has changed since then in the blogosphere. I’m feeling like an Old-Timer. “In my day, there was only ONE Christmas linky party, and we had to walk 3 miles through the snow to get to it!” Ha.

I’m glad you’re carrying on the tradition. Thanks for hosting it again this year. Can’t wait to see what everyone has to show us!

  8. Thanks for sharing your home, your family, your life with us this year, dear Nester! Whenever one of your posts appears in my RSS feed, I click in as fast as my fingers can go. Your out-of-the box perspective on living well makes my day each and every time. You’re a breath of fresh air, girl!

And thanks for the opportunity to share a bit of life from this end … jumping in with 31 days in October breathed new life into my blogging and brought lots of new connections. And then linking up my 9 cent gift last week brought an avalance of visitors that has simply taken my breath away!

Can’t wait to see what 2013 brings to you, to us. Blessings to you and your family …

  20. Nester, everything looks beautiful and festive at your house. I love the photos of the boys!

If I were to take photos of my boys right now, Lee would be stressed about finishing his exams, Will would be sleeping after having finished his exams, and Preston would be on the couch, where he’s recuperating from having had surgery last Friday. Not sure the photos would be too pretty. But they’re my precious boys, and I’m hoping that by the end of this week everyone will be feeling better and we’ll be ready to really enjoy our Christmas together.

Your Christmas Tour of Homes is a party I look forward to every year. I don’t seem to have too much to show this year, but I’m so glad to be here. Love you!
