Have you heard about the upcoming Haven conference? I knew I wanted to attend from the moment I saw the tag line. I’m a sucker for a good tag line. It didn’t hurt that it was a conference is featuring some brilliant leaders in the DIY/home blogging community. I cannot say enough about this community of women {oh and men} and home bloggers in general. I’ve found home bloggers to be such a generous, kind, supportive group, if you come, you will be encouraged. You will be motivated, you will learn, your home and blog will thank you.
As soon as I bought my ticket I contacted Rhoda to beg ask if I could give away a ticket here at Nesting Place. She overlooked my awkwardness and in true gracious, southern, Rhoda style said yes!

Recognize these women? They’ll be your hosts for the two day conference. Y’all, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting every single one of these inspiring voices and they are even better in person than online.
The Keynote speakers are the couple who are livin’ the dream: John and Sherry from Young House Love #ICannotWaitToHearThem!
The ever dapper Rashon Carraway from Mr. Goodwill Hunting {is it wrong to look forward to seeing what someone is going to be wearing at a conference? Rashon does not disappoint} is teaching a thrifting class because you know, he started a little something called I love thrifting day.
And Ana White who is pretty much the DIY version of a super hero–she’s coming all the way from Alaska. She and her husband built their house. By themselves. Like BUILT their house. BY THEMSELVES. Clearly I’ll be asking for her autograph.
Anyway, ONE of you will win a ticket {a $200 value} to the Haven Conference, the giveaway is just for the ticket to attend so you’ll still need to get yourself there and get a room or stay with friends but, you can get in for free! And if you bought a ticket already, you can enter too and if you win you’ll be reimbursed.
