Not to steel all your ideas, but what color are your kitchen walls? I have your kitchen floor and cabinets. The owners before us chose a mauve Formica counter top (yuck!) with a white/tan stone tile back drop and it makes the room look so muddy. they did have the walls red but we repainted it a “custard cream” from Royal Paints. It looks like a soft yellow but I am getting sick of it!! Our kitchen and dining room is an open space so dividing the color is tricky as to where to divide the wall. With all that yad yad :), what I am trying to say is your color in your kitchen is a nice neutral that may work with the rest of the flow of my house. Thanks for taking time to read this and listening to my problem.
