Kitchen Update @ the little things

Did you see what Shanty 2 Chic made with the help of plans from Knock off Wood?  LOVE that she added inexpensive foam crown molding to finish it off.  Genius.

Eddie Ross is looking for his next challenge, I mean LUCKY person to get their home doctored up by him and his amazing talents–if you live in Connecticut, New York or New Jersey, you can apply to have him come do a project in your home for a magazine feature.

My Top 5 Cleaning “Ah-Ha” Moments @ Small Notebook.  Let’s all give her an Amen.  And go ahead and read this post too.

Lastly, did you see?  My friends are friends with PW’s friend! Hyacinth, Pioneer Woman’s sidekick is getting design inspiration for her home from three of my absolute favorite home bloggers–Holly, Melissa and Layla.  This is beyond exciting for me, oh and I’m sure you’ll enjoy reading about the process too on PW’s home and garden section.  You can read about the direction they are headed here.

Don’t forget to check the Nest Files for daily finds!

Do you have any tips for painting on laminated wood? I just ‘inheirited’ a bedroom set from a friend and would like to pretty it up. It’s just an ugly Sauder bed set and I would like to pretty it up but have no idea what step one should be.
