Well, Kimba, I did get my camera cord in the mail yesterday thankyouverymuch but, I already had this post in the works and wanted to see what y’all think about this. I got an email the other day from Sara and she wanted help with some mistreatments. She sent me these photos of her lovely, inviting home and said that I could share them with you all and enlist your help.
Here’s what she had to say…
Dear Nester… {this is me leaving out all the fine, fine compliments as to how beautiful I am and practically perfect in every way to the extent of rivaling Mary Poppins.} My one main goal all summer has been to do mistreatments for my new home in the living room/kitchen. However, my dilema {I can never spell that word} is………. I can’t pick a fabric!
You are so talented {well, I’m sure she meant to make it larger in her email and just forgot so I thought I would add it in} and I am sure with one look you could tell me. Aw shucks. I have a hunch that this great room is dying for some color and that a certain fabric might help. So, I am wondering……..do you have any idea what might look good in this room???? I love all of the fabric that you use. Double shucks. Could you suggest one that you have used? I just don’t have an “eye” for things like this:)
Y’all, won’t it be fun if we all pitch in and help Sara together?! Do you have a favorite fabric that you have used or an idea that she might like? When I emailed her for permission to use these photos she said advice in any area was welcome. This room looks 95% done to me and she is so right that fabric will really soften it up! Maybe if this goes well we can do this from time to time. But don’t go sending me a zillion photos just yet, I’ll have to set up a separate email first. So, what would you do if you were Sara? What kind of fabric would you be looking for?
